Donate Physical Items

What We Currently Need

These items are used daily by our carers and are always in short supply.

• Clean towels (all sizes)
• Pillowcases
• Sheets & linen
• Fleece blankets
• Fabric pouches (sewn or purchased)
• Cotton or flannelette fabric for pouch liners

What We Can't Accept

To keep wildlife safe and ensure donated items can be used immediately, we're unable to accept the following:

• Perishable food items (fruit, vegetables, bread, etc.)
• Any food or treats intended for pets (dog, cat, bird, reptile, etc.)
• Non-wildlife milk formulas (cow's milk, goat's milk, human baby formula, pet milk replacers)
• Soiled, mouldy, or damaged towels or linen
• Feather doonas or pillows (feathers can be hazardous to wildlife)
• Electric blankets or heated bedding
• Pet beds or items used by domestic animals
• Clothing (shirts, pants, jackets, etc.)
• Foam mattresses or cushions
• Items with strong scents, perfumes, or detergents

How to Donate Items

We don't have public drop-off points. Instead, please contact us so we can match your items with the right carer or collection volunteer.

Sewing Volunteers

If you sew, we always need pouches and liners in various sizes for joeys, possums, and gliders.
