How Joey Sponsorship Works

Sponsoring a joey is a powerful way to support their care, rehabilitation, and (when possible) release back into the wild. Here’s exactly what happens after you submit your sponsorship form.

To keep everything transparent and easy to follow, we’ve outlined each step in the sponsorship process. From the moment you submit the form to the point your sponsorship ends, your support is carefully tracked and managed by the WRAPT team.

1 Start

You submit the sponsorship form

Once you choose a joey and complete the sponsorship form on our website, your details are securely sent to WRAPT.

2 Behind the scenes

WRAPT logs your sponsorship in Nutrix

Your submission is recorded in Nutrix, our rescue and care management system.

3 Set up payments

We contact you to set up your payment plan

A WRAPT team member will reach out to confirm your preferred payment method.

Payment options

  • Direct bank transfer
  • Stripe subscription (credit/debit card)
  • Invoice via Xero
4 Ongoing support

Your sponsorship continues each month

Your contribution helps cover food, formula, medical care, and rehabilitation.

Nutrix Portal Access

As a sponsor, you will receive access to the Nutrix Portal, where you can log in anytime to view your joey’s current status, outcome updates, and care notes.

When your sponsorship ends

  • You request an estoppel (cancellation)
  • The joey is released
  • The joey passes away
